Variety Kids Pittsburgh
Variety Kids Pittsburgh approached Imagebox with the challenge of updating their current website. They wanted a new website that brought recognition to their nonprofit and could help spread the word. One of their biggest concerns was competing with larger organizations that had more national attention.
Imagebox wanted to utilize the large amount of videos that the client had in a prominent way to help build the brand. Our solution was to have our video department cut together several videos to form a short reel that could be played in the masthead behind the nonprofit’s mission statement.
The client also had a whole library of powerful stories from the families they’ve helped which weren’t being utilized on the current website. Our solution was to pull them out and put them front and center on their new website.
I really wanted this website to feel fun despite being such a serious subject. Luckily it wasn’t hard to achieve with such vibrant brand colors. I added a few additional design elements like water colors and hand drawn icons to really enhance the brands online presence.
